Bad chime in home decor

A very nice clock and keeps the time well. But the bells were terrible. "Melody" was great but my god I had to stand by to hear it. I think I'm dated, but for $755 it should wake the dead. At least you can hear it across the room. Decided to return.

Pros
  • Yummy
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Don't risk your life

Bought this for my wife for her anniversary about 4 years ago. Nice chime, but I'm pretty sure Mickey Mouse's wrist watch from the 1950's kept better time. I've never seen a "watch" run as badly as this watch. It often goes out for 5-10 minutes a week. However, don't bother adjusting it as it will be too fast or too slow depending on the temperature in the house. Like a watch, it's $900 worth of junk.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great price

Good watch if you really don't care what time it is.

The suitcase work is phenomenal. However, the timing mechanism is completely useless. It increases from 20 minutes a day to three hours over three days. We can't seem to set it up to keep up with the times. It was never, never right, and we don't expect it to be. We've adjusted it sixteen times since Sunday and it's either too fast or too slow, even with very, very small adjustments. Now we're looking for a watch shop so we can spend even more money on them to try and get them to actually keep…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Nice clock on home decoration products

This is a nice American clock with German mechanical movement. The fit and finish are great, the bells sound great, and the quality is evident. This is a family heirloom. It's too big for a mantel clock, so compare the size of the clock to what you want. As this is a mechanical watch and not a Timex watch you may need to adjust the time slightly and this is all covered in the guide. This consists of the slight movement of an easily accessible small lever. I'm not sure what the problem with the…
