I received this to replace my broken laptop screen. After watching a few videos online I was able to figure out how to detach the screen and get the model number. It fit perfectly and was easy to assemble with a little help. No dead pixels at all! I'm glad I found this because it was MUCH cheaper than taking my computer in for repairs!

Works! And it looks very nice! And it was a lot cheaper than replacing the computer or replacing the screen with someone else. One word of advice, don't use HP's screen replacement guide - you'll have to disassemble the entire computer, except for the motherboard, which I don't think is necessary. There are some video tutorials on YouTube instead - I thought they might be easier, but I decided to go to the HP website and get a service manual. A good guide, but not about replacing the screen.

Arrived in a cloud of bubble wrap and a protective silver envelope, no damage, along with a spare battery which I bought in a separate order (the magic of execution!) The product looks Pretty good looking Unlike the original - thin metal, the back element was on the side instead of the top, and the "techy" looking computer strip at the bottom (where the plug goes in) was shorter and smaller. Connected, screwed screen to brackets and tested. Works great so far! The picture is nice and clear. $50
