Dock fits my G3 laptop perfectly

Ideal as a second dock in my second office so I don't have to plug in the AC adapter every time I move my computer from place to place.

Working from home you must have. Good product.

If you work with multiple screens, then this docking station is a must for you. Easy to set up and feels like you're working in an office. Happy and satisfied.

Compact docking station with all ports

Just what I need for my new G5 laptop. Note that if your monitor (or TV) doesn't have a DisplayPort connector, you'll need either a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter or a cable that's pre-terminated with the correct ends (DP and HDMI). . I've actually tried both - the adapter didn't work very well, but the pre-built cable works great.

Gen 2 is much better than Gen 1

Have two EliteBook 850s. The first version of the UltraSlim docking station never worked properly. To get dual monitors to work at 1920 x 1200 you have to find the right power on and boot order, connect video cables on the fly and the audio doesn't work properly. This Gen 2 dock seems to have fixed those issues. I have 2 1920x1200 monitors with DP connectors and it worked right away.

The most convenient docking station I've ever used.

I have a lot of experience with laptop docking stations at work and at home. Ultra thin is by far the best. If you're used to older MFP designs, which I find to be more durable and bulky, don't be fooled by the ultra-thin device's sleek, compact design. It has all the features you need for multi-screen and multitasking. I appreciate that the VGA port is included, and if you're like me and still have monitors with VGA, you can get a VGA-DP (DisplayPort) adapter for your dock. Getting back to the

Working docking station

My company recently replaced my aging Dell laptop with an HP 840 and I needed to (quickly) upgrade my home office to accommodate the new system. I chose this "new" system over the restored one because it should work from day one. The docking station and power supply were delivered promptly in the original box and packaging. There were no instructions or other printed materials in the box, but the power supply and docking station were properly protected with bubble wrap. Setup was quick andโ€ฆ
