Unassuming Chromebook

If I had to summarize the impression of this Chromebook, with a Word it would be CHEAP. Keyboard keys become deaf when pressed, and the touchpad jingles loudly when you point it in that direction. The predominantly plastic construction creates a flex/trash feeling. For comparison, I have a stack of laptops. (many HP) and this one is of the lowest quality of all. I hate the keyboard!

I hate the keyboard because they added a search key just to the left of the "a". Why is it so annoying? Because so often when I'm typing, the huge search box takes up more than half of my screen. What were they thinking? How often does it appear? It turns out I use the letter "a" quite a bit. And you? I didn't realize how much of a "blind typist" I was until I had to look at the keyboard for that new key to make sure I didn't accidentally hit that key. Additionally, the keyboard had over an…

Better than I thought

I don't know much about Chromebooks but decided to try . I chose this one because of the price and amount of storage and storage. After a week of use I can say I like it. It's not cluttered with BS software that I'll never use. He does what I need. I love its simplicity which is very refreshing. It turns on instantly and turns off instantly without waiting or delaying. This one didn't show as much battery life as the others, but it's good enough for now.
