HP needs to implement higher EMI standards. I had to add ferrite chokes to both the power and video cables to reduce the EMI emissions from this monitor.

I was expecting a display port cable in the box. One of the drawings has "DP" written in the margin. If I knew that, I would order displayport cables.

I had two of these monitors for work for two years and liked them so much I ordered them for myself after I resigned. Revain sent me two monitors, both of which had dead pixels right out of the box. I returned them and received a replacement of two replacements, one had a stuck pixel that I was able to fix and the other had another dead pixel. I use this with my Alienware laptop and it's a really good monitor. The built-in acoustics are good in principle, of course I don't see any need to buy a separate set of speakers.

I have two of these monitors and they are great for my home office. The picture quality is pretty much the best you can get for the price and is perfect for everyday use. The monitor turned out to be a bit larger than I expected, but had no trouble installing it on my computer desk. Setup was very easy - plug and play - so I quickly got to work. My computer had to register the device for some reason so I had to reboot the system while the monitor was plugged into the laptop dock, but as soon as the laptop rebooted the big screen came alive! Excellent color quality for everyday use. No complaints.

I have always received good service from HP products. They are reliable and last a long time. This also seems to be of good quality. The only thing that annoys me is that I tested this monitor for several days before buying it. It was $130 and when I went to buy it it went up to $180. Not cool.

Great second monitor for the price. Perfect for my needs. Nice pic. Easy to set up. I couldn't figure out how to set the monitor's speakers as the default. I've researched this a bit and maybe it's related to the dongle I use for my Mac, so I used the accessory cable, but even then I have to go into the settings every time. I bought a powerful Dell computer for work but needed a decent widescreen flat panel monitor. Sometimes I work from home and don't want to spend a lot of money on a monitor. It turned out to be a lot. I almost wish I had bought two.

Although the cost is much lower than traditional monitors, the quality does not suffer. I can't comment on specific high end requirements but for everyday use video/image/color no complaints but I appreciate HP's reputation.

For an inexpensive larger monitor, this one works well. HDMI input. I disable the audio portion and use the laptop speakers instead. Good value for money.
