Quiet Low profile keys on this keyboard

This is a great keyboard for the price. The keys feel sturdy and are "flat" like a laptop's keys. Convenient to use and with height/angle adjustment. plus calculator buttons on the right. Having a hardwired keyboard is a lot less of a hassle when using my PC. There was never any lag when pressing the buttons and you didn't have to worry about low batteries.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made

Works as expected but unclear model number on bottom of keyboard

Keyboard is great as expected. However, I don't understand why the model number at the bottom of the keyboard is "PH0U" and not "N3R87AT#ABA". N3R87AT#ABA is what is listed on HP's official website and also on this product listing page, not PH0U. Does somebody know? Stranger still, when I googled "PH0U" - this product page and the official HP page for this keyboard appear in the results, even though there is no PH0U code on those pages - just N3R87AT#ABA! goes over my head? PH0U is usually…

Keyboard presses not registered

I was so happy to use this HP keyboard. It looks good and has quiet keys. However, when I plugged it in, I discovered that it has one major flaw that I can't help but notice. The keys aren't sensitive enough and miss a lot of my keystrokes, causing random letters to be missing from my typing. Even reducing your typing speed to the bare minimum and trying to hit the center of each key perfectly with very hard, intentional presses still results in missing letters. Having to go back and correct…

Great for a temporary home office

After being advised to bring a branded laptop and work from home, I quickly realized that I needed a cheap keyboard for ergonomic reasons. The company's caveat is that I'm not allowed to connect peripherals that have extra ports/inputs. This keyboard ticks all the boxes: good reviews, good value, wired USB, no extra ports. It came earlier than expected and worked right away. I like the low, quiet keys (I type loud), the slim profile, and the fact that I now have a number pad. For those who…

There is nothing better than on a keyboard without .

I bought this keyboard to replace my gaming keyboard. All the hype has to do with mx Cherry mechanical keyboards. Spring. after buying over 9 different keyboards and years of testing. There's nothing quite like being able to type on a keyboard without the whole world knowing what you're typing. Put simply, if you're doing multiple things at the same time, I don't want my friends, family, and maybe even clients to know that I'm typing on the computer and doing 3 things at once. The worst thing…

does what i need

I needed to replace the keyboard that came with my HP desktop computer. I've had it since 2012 and probably would never have replaced it if it wasn't for the coronavirus. My daughter primarily attends an online school, like many others around the country (and even around the world); but she's 10 and can't type yet. My keyboard worked fine but the letters were scratched so you can't see where the letters were on it or anything. I didn't care because as an adult I'm familiar with the QWERTY…

No USB port but great overall

I really like this keyboard - the first thing I would warn you about is that it doesn't have a USB port. So if you're looking for a keyboard to use with a wireless mouse, for example, you can't do that with this keyboard. I just want to make sure you know that. The seller doesn't list a USB port in their description so I'm not saying there's any kind of cheating going on here, but FYI it doesn't have a USB port. Otherwise I'm very happy with it. Item based on overall quality and price. The keys

If you're looking for a quiet keyboard, look elsewhere.

I bought this to replace a wireless keyboard also made by HP as the low key profile gives the impression that you don't have to press too far. I mainly use it for gaming, but I also type a lot. When gaming, it's a bit more forgiving of having to press the keys this far, as fingers don't typically go very far from the WASD keys, but when typing, this is the first keyboard I've ever used. actually my hands hurt. I've never had issues with carpal tunnel syndrome, which is one of the reasons I keep
