I ordered two of these bulbs for my sewing machine and for my mother. We both sew on Brother LS-2125i machines and I wanted to improve the light definition on both machines to help us. No problems installing and the light is very bright! Definitely an upgrade. However, that's NOT cool. The White 2037 sewing machine was given to me when my old Singer died resort to trial and error I have one on google Found page listing my car with the size listed here at Revain because I ordered this bulb it works! wouldn't call it hot the cap fits my car with the bulb installed the bulb does reach to the floor cap on but again it's nowhere near scorching hot I've included photos with and without the cap on This is a lovely very bright bulb At the moment I highly recommend it!

Update: I bought this lamp twice. The first served about a year, the second about 9 months. First review: This lamp fits perfectly with my Brother Nouvelle PQ1500S. The base of the bulb is longer than the base of a regular bulb I bought at my local quilt shop, so it looked a bit odd when I opened the box (see attached photo).
