HUBSAN H501SS Transmitter Brushless Quadcopter Review

A good toy if it sends a picture so you can see where it's going. And it turns out there is a 50/50 chance that the recording will work. nice picture when the time comes. I can't fly in to find out. Made from cheap hard plastic to make it stronger I think but feels cheap.

I was new to flying the drone when I got it but it was easy to use. The initial setting for calibration is timely. There's not much compatibility if you want to use it with your phone. The only downside is removing the micro turf to take photos of it. Battery life and flight time are decent for this drone size. There aren't many fancy extra features either.

I like the good distance and the LCD screen is nice and full of information. "Come Home" works great, as does "Follow Me". It's a very stable plane and has good battery life. The 1080 camera takes good pictures as you can see. I started with this drone and still enjoy it. I can't think of anything I don't like about him. It's not built for speed, so I didn't expect it to be a racing drone.

Excellent reliable and inexpensive drone. I have flown this drone over 300 meters with the controller at 55 meters. I stopped because it was hard to see. FPV was clean all the time. This was without controller mods. Altitude hold mode was fun with the extra speed. Manual mode satisfied. I have h501 which I gave to my son and he flies it at least a couple of times a week so I bought one myself but the SS version and in less than a week the smoke starts pouring out of the body and he melts and his hand almost caught fire. Received my new Hubsan X4 Air H501S very quickly. It took me 18 hours to deliver to me after ordering. I ordered the standard black version. The drone offers so many features at a great price. The features compete with many DJI features at literally 1/4 the cost. This drone is controlled with an LCD screen controller so I can see exactly what footage the drone is taking.
