In the foot area, they fit correctly and as expected. However, they were quite tight at the elasticated ankle. I understand they need to be elastic and firm to hold them, that's the whole point. But they were too tight. My baby is a chubby guy and I'm afraid they will cut off the circuit.

Not as good as Hudson fleece ankle boots. Very thin material

I ordered 4 more pairs of Hudson Baby Booties (about the same price range) but they were all fleece. This velor is definitely thinner and appears to be a lot cheaper than the others. I would say they are even thinner than some of their socks. All other pairs of fleeces I've bought are great and hold up well, but this pair feels cheap and unreliable - disappointing.

Not as soft as some. Great brand. A little big.

Velor ankle boots don't quite match Hudson's regular cotton ankle boots. I think it's more of a style preference than a quality issue. My child seems to prefer the cozier cotton ankle boots over the suede ankle boots which are not as soft as other more expensive brands of suede ankle boots. Use cotton instead. The fluffy filled ones are super warm, while the solid cotton ones are great with or without socks to keep you warm. Great brand. A little big.
