Great wool blanket

We bought one of these and also one of the similar Pendleton blankets. If you are looking for exceptional quality, buy one or both.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Minor problems

Hudson's Bay rug.

This is the same blanket my wife and I got as a wedding present 45 years ago. This continued, with the exception of a few moth holes, and left many memories of this purchase with a young girl, a close friend of my son's.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Basically okay, but...

The legendary blanket is real

I've been waiting for this blanket for over 40 years! It's everything I hoped it would be and it adapts amazingly to the weather. Not too hot like other wool blankets, but enough warmth for any season.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Not worth the price.

On November 28, 2018, I purchased a 4-point Hudson Bay comforter. After doing my research, I expected a lot more from Hudson's Bay (not worth the $489 spent). It's just another blanket. Now I see the price has dropped to $375.25 which is closer to what it should be.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Empty

We love it. Suitable for duvets

This is the best duvet in the world. Maintains the right temperature while you sleep. It doesn't matter what the temperature is in the room, it's perfect. I would recommend this to everyone. That lasts a lifetime. We have one and bought one for our daughter who is in college in New England. She loves it and all her friends are jealous and want one too. They're expensive, but they're worth it.

  • Certified

Christmas present for wife. There is also a book about HBC.

A New Year's present for my wife. My grandma had one and we used to watch TV when we were kids. What do you get from your wife after 30 years of marriage? - New HBC Lace Blanket! Also bought a book on the history of HBC. Very expensive and does not keep its value. I hope she will love it. She'll get a new pressure cooker next year to help offset the cost of Christmas... Ha!

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Nothing special, everything is fine

warm but cool in duvets and bedspreads

Have wanted the Hudson's Bay quilt since I first saw it at the Canadian Pavilion at Epcot decades ago. I was wary of buying a thick wool blanket but it doesn't suit you so it's not too hot. Too bad I didn't buy it a few years ago. Saves on electricity bills. You can turn off the heating. It's like being in a warm hut. The only downside might be that it's hard to get out of bed in the morning. The cat loves it too. It's thick enough to give her good nesting grooves. The Revain price for that is…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Functionality

Ordered 4 points for a twin and 6 points for a queen. Due to the weight of the duvet, it nestles well against the bed and gives the feeling of being comfortably wrapped up. Almost like a sleeping bag. This pleasant feeling contributes to a wonderful sleep. Blankets are breathable, not bulky like blankets, and my small dog sleeps under the blanket with no discomfort. Another reviewer suggested that a 4-point blanket was the best choice for twins, while a 3.5-point blanket was not. I agree. It…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
