💡 Philips Hue Play Starter Kit in Sleek Black - Optimize Your Lighting Experience Review

Like many here, I took the risk. I bought a new one and it was sealed with Revain tape. This has been used. The brightness is ok but I don't think it's worth the money. Just buy the setup from Bestbuy or any other electronics store. At least they're selling a new one.

One of my best buys, syncing with the Hue app is super easy. Once you figure out the mounting mechanism for attaching lighting fixtures around the TV, you're done. These are some third-party apps that you can use to sync Spotify/Apple music with lights and have a party. Fun!

Previously purchased and used Hue light bars, bulbs etc. New light bars and hub installed. THISSYSTEM is not backwards compatible with my previous system and I only discovered this after installing a new hub and updating the software. What now, start two hubs? pathetic.

The packaging was pretty rough - I can understand why some people think they are getting used product as I'm still not 100%, mine aren't used either lol. (For example, the lack of an adhesive tape that seals the packaging). But they work like a dream, and the hub included in the kit lets you get started and add light as you see fit in the future.

First of all just incredible. This technique is amazing! If you're buying or considering those cheap $80 camera strips that hang from the front of your TV. Just stop! I did that, nothing compares. By the way, it is expensive and requires many additional parts. You need lights, Hue Bridge, Hue Sync, more lights. That is much! But in my opinion it's worth it. It's great how the exact colors blend into the wall behind the TV and how each color washes onto the wall in each section. Wonderful

These lights provide a nice ambient light behind my computer monitor. Installing the Philips Hue app and lights was easy. Some cons: Shortly after turning on these bulbs, their plastic casing makes noise as it heats up and expands. The power supply also emits a very quiet hum when the light is switched on. I received the box with the seals already broken so I assumed it wasn't going to be good to begin with. I opened the box, but there are no fasteners and a wrench. Terribly disappointed.
