Hunter makes good fans. Your customer support is very good. But this model has some quiet fan motors while others hum. The noise gets louder as the speed increases. I have the same fan in another room and it's very quiet. Replaced Hunter once. The same buzz. Enough to annoy. I don't know how to fix this bedroom.

I bought 2 of these fans to replace some of the ones in our den that have gone bad. They were very easy to put on and look very nice. My wife now has a home office in the area and said she doesn't even hear them work. You are really quiet. They appear to be a quality product and we are VERY happy with this purchase.

The first one had a manufacturing defect so I had to replace it. One star deduction for that. Otherwise it is very quiet and perfect for our small master bedroom with low ceilings. We mostly keep it low when it's so quiet we forget, but even on medium and high it's quieter than any floor fan set to the same speed. The light is too bright for our small room so we'll probably look for a dimmer.

My husband and I just installed this fan in our living room. Doesn't seem too complicated and the instructions are very good. {I'm a big fan of easy instructions} I love this fan! It is very beautiful and the fan cannot be heard! I even turned off the light to hear it lol. 5 stars Can only recommend this fan. I am in the process of ordering another to replace another old fan in our home. There was no remote control.

This is the most beautiful ceiling fan we have ever installed in our home. In fact, we liked this fan so much that we bought five of these fans for different rooms. The fan is very quiet and quite responsive. Also, it doesn't hang too low, so a person is unlikely to hit his head on the globe. We used the included light kit, but if the person just wants to use it as a fan, the installation guide says so.

I ordered the same fan from a major dealer and had to return it due to a lot of rust on the inside of the case cover. I found the same fan at Revain and happened to see it at a sale price so I ordered it from Revain. It also had rust on the inside of the case cover. I had to raise the fan so I decided to keep this one. It's quiet and pushes a lot of air. It has a little tremor but I think I can make up for it. I'm just disappointed with Hunter's quality control. Remember when Hunter fans were at the top? Never. I noticed two issues with this fan early in the installation process. The mounting bracket is not suitable for a standard small size lightbox which can normally be handled by a lay craftsman. The worst was yet to come. This ceiling fan turned out to be everything I wanted in a living room fan and I am happy with it. I added a ceiling medallion (traditional Ekena Millwork CMP19TR thermoformed PVC ceiling medallion) and painted it an antique bronze finish to match the fan.
