Hunter Fan Co. 59613 Kennicott Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Wall Control, 44 in Matte Black Review

This fan exceeded my expectations. Hunter fans are the best. I bought two of these for our garden. Disclaimer, we didn't install them, an electrician did and installed the wall mounted remote control in under 30 minutes. With these fans, the air temperature is ten degrees cooler than outside the terrace. I can hardly hear them running. They are beautiful matte black and I love their style.

Great replacement for a small outdoor deck. Just note that unlike most fans, this fan doesn't have a built-in speed controller. Instead, the Hunter bundles the device with a three-speed controller that replaces the wall switch. I have "Decor" style switches and this unit is more compatible with wall plate mugs. I bought a Lutron Diva fan controller to match the style of neighboring units.

It took a bit of work to install this fan as I had to run a separate electrical wire for the wall switch. Didn't install it but was disappointed when I turned it on and saw it rock. You would think that a fan costing around $200 (no light) would work like it hadn't had a drink all night! What can I say, I don't film this, but for me there are no more Hunter fans.

This is a beautiful fan when not on. The body of the rotating blade is severely deformed, causing the blades to oscillate along with the entire moving assembly.
