I just received my boots and was so excited to try them on when I opened the box they were all white and blooming. I called Hunter and they said it happens for a while but it doesn't have to be when you're just buying your boots. In addition, the hunter label is already ugly. Very disappointed as most reviews were good! I think I have an old pair that was damaged. boo!

Worth every penny. I just hiked in the rain through the biggest muddy puddles in a field next to a stream near my house - didn't slip or slide in red clay or mud, they're comfortable, well stitched (of course they're real because they're real rubber boots), and I didn't even have to walk carefully. I had the cheap, decorative "wellies" and am upgrading to Real Deal boots. Now I understand everything. I'll look for some more dirt.
