My grandson wore them to school for 8 days this school year. He must wear dress shoes with his white shirt and tie once a week during the official day. As mentioned in other reviews, too small. I bought the wide ones and they were too tight around the ankle where the elastic is. Already sent back.

Great shoes for boys! Holds up well after a day of running and playing at an outdoor wedding. Soft ground and leather feel hard. Excellent purchase!

After all the comments about the shoes, they are very narrow as the width is not wide, I ordered half a size bigger and wider, now the shoes are too big, a normal size would fit him perfectly! Plus, the shoes are beautiful and durable enough to last a full school year.

My son wears shoes that are 12-13 wide depending on the brand and style of the shoes. I started with 12.5 watts and he couldn't even fit in. Next I ordered 13W. Bought these for my grandson and he wears a 51/2 in tennis shoes. These shoes were larger than his tennis shoes, but he was happy to slip some cotton balls in and said they were very comfortable. :) I think his mom is happy because he can wear them more than 6 months. Nice leather uniform shoes for my son. I have 12.5, they are a bit big but not bad. It's probably close to a 12 anyway. So the fit is pretty much true to size I'd say.
