Some design improvements over my original, looks like it has better gas passage to allow gas to flow to where it meets the burner screen.

Installed in Atwood M/N 7920-ll. I was concerned that the model/burner type would not be compatible with this stove but it seems to work well and can make a big difference in looks and performance. see the difference

Atwood Burner #30268. old #36043. I came across an Atwood service manual from 2007. There were 4 burner types listed with 4 part numbers. This is the only one of the 4 burners that has a closed part with a bracket. (flat face with no holes drilled) I am sending a photo with dimensions>

The burner in my old Hydro-Flame 8531-II has started to rust. After reading reviews of how this particular burner works but modifications may be needed, I ordered it. It was easy to install, fits perfectly and works great. I'm not sure why other people say some changes might be needed, but in my case I didn't have to do anything.
