Made in China - advert image is inaccurate

If I had known they were made in China I would not have bought them. I have trouble trusting the quality of food from China. The photo in the ad does not show the country of origin. Attached is a photo of the item I received. The label is the same except that "Made in China" is added. Intentionally misleading?

Top notch filter, unfortunately the US can't make it for the same price.

Have used these for 5 years and change them every two months. With prolonged use, it starts to smell like well water again. The filters are very good for foul smelling water up to two months when no other filter could last longer than 3 weeks to a month. Tried all filters and this internal filter is the only one that can last more than a month before failing. the scents of the water return. When I'm not drinking the water I filter it and pass it through UV light to ensure bacteria/pollutants…
