Great sculpting material for dioramas

I recently started getting into Arts and Crafts and found this product to be really helpful for creating dioramas. Through trial and error, I found that mixing this plaster with a little bit of water made for a great texture and it was easy to sculpt into the shapes I needed. The finished product had a nice smooth finish and held up really well. My only complaint is that the bag doesn't contain as much as I would like, but overall a great product.

Pros
  • Easy to mix and sculpt, smooth finish
Cons
  • Small amount in the bag.

Incredibly overpriced

A 50 pound bag of Hydrocal from the manufacturer costs about $20. Keep that in mind if you really want to spend money on it.

Pros
  • Sculpture Accessories
Cons
  • Disappear
