Adhesive bifocal lenses.

I need +3 diopter for close range TIG welding (old eyes). I had trouble finding +3 diopter glasses where the bifocal part wasn't just a very small part of the lens. These hydrotacs work well for me as they are much larger. I can put them in any glasses, even glasses. I've only dropped one lens so far, and that was on a very humid day. The inside of the goggle was pretty wet and the right hydrotac came loose. Otherwise they stayed in place very well. Even here in Yuma, Arizona where summer…

Don't waste your time or money.

Pros: The concept is good in theory. Technically, they should fit any pair of glasses. Cons: You can't really place them on your glasses. You must precisely match the curvature of these lenses to the curvature of your glasses. Otherwise, air will seep in and dry out the water that should form a seal holding it in place. They work well in my snorkel mask. I bought +3 to be able to read the fine print on my dive computer. After cutting them to shape, aligning them and sticking them on, I found that they allowed me to read fine print and didn't interfere with my normal distance vision. The photos show where I cropped them to fit my lenses. Cropping was essential to getting them where I needed to really see through them. They can easily be trimmed with sharp scissors.
