Garbage Computers and accessories

I have had this item for over 6 months. And I just threw it in the trash after I gave up. He doesn't live for the hype he has. Let's start with some very simple problems. The Mac Pro has the stereo jack on the right side, so if you use the adapter on the right, it will block the jack. If you use on the left, it means the SD card slots are swapped. Another problem is that it doesn't recognize certain USB devices and once plugged in, it never works again. Luckily, I had a few simple USB->USBCโ€ฆ

I just got a new 2017 15" MacBook Pro and of course I hated the fact that Apple removed all the ports, but the HyperDrive Hub was perfect as I travel a lot and need fewer adapters. I had to use a small mini hacksaw to cut out a piece of the plastic case I had on my MacBook to allow the HyperDrive to sit flush with my protective case (the $19 case doesn't matter, just a small piece that I removed from the side and sanded down) My only concern is that the USB ports are a little tight when youโ€ฆ

I just got a new 2017 15" MacBook Pro and of course I hated the fact that Apple removed all the ports but the HyperDrive Hub was perfect as I travel a lot and has reduced the number of adapters I need to take with me. I had to use a small mini hacksaw to cut out a piece of the plastic case I had on my MacBook to allow the HyperDrive to sit flush with my protective case (the $19 case doesn't matter, just a small piece that I removed from the side and sanded down) My only concern is that the USBโ€ฆ
