I bought it even though I read all the negative reviews and thought "how bad can it be?" well the answer is very bad. This thing barely works as a headset. I can't believe Hyperkin put this on the market.

The landing was uncomfortable, the sound was irritable and difficult to hear, and I intruded on others than soft and broken to hear . Even reduced to $20, well worth it, I gave it 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Now I have to pay the postage for the return

Remember how good the old Xbox 360 chat headset was? It's the other way around, it just looks that way. One of the worst headsets I've worn in terms of comfort, the flashing blue light next to your eye is distracting and the mic just didn't work. At least Revane let me get it back.

Two things to know: First, it only works for group chats. Even if the game has built-in chat and a headset is plugged in, you can't chat without being in a group. Second, mine stopped connecting after two weeks. I suspect it also needs better noise cancellation so it only picks up my voice and not noise from the TV etc. Good idea but poorly designed or built.

Terrible when turned on it connects for 5 seconds then turns off. Sometimes it just won't turn on. The mute button should not be in the earpiece. Should have been like the original. I went ahead and asked for a replacement to see if it was the right one, but my hopes are not high. Update: The replacement is connected but the sound quality is terrible. Kinect has the best sound quality. Returned.

I'm a laid back guy who plays Xbox about 2 hours a week. Despite the bad reviews, I was hoping it might work for me. I don't mind if my voice sounds a bit distorted, but people I'm chatting with should still be able to hear me. Like all s*** pieces, this thing belongs in the toilet.
