Great Performance from Dual Band Antenna

This antenna is fantastic for CB and Two-Way radios! As a result of my tests, I determined that it gives great range and clear audio. Its BNC connector makes it easy to attach to the radio... however, it`s not the most durable antenna out there so be careful when handling it. Overall, a great addition to any electronics collection..

Pros
  • Durable and sturdy construction
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all devices

Not as advertised in CB & Two-Way Radios

The antenna description lists the 136-174 and 400-480 frequency range and it will be in the operating frequency range. Tested on two radios and achieved an SWR of 6:1 - 8:1 on the VHF business band. Pulled out one of our UHF HTs and set it to a white dot (shared with amateur band gmrs 16) and got a 5:1 SWR. Add, the description says 20W but the packaging says it's only 10W and the reception is only for 120/150/300/450/900MHz (Business Band 151-158 and 462-469). I will be returning these…
