Veteran ApprovedπŸ‘ for Portable Audio & Video

Purchased for my Baofeng UV-5R. Works just as well as the tactical antenna on an old military PRC 77. Folds up when not needed. Size matters!

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Great offer for two!

Perfect fit and size to wear over my flak jacket. Fits right on my UV5r. Works great with 42". The fact that it comes with two sweetens the deal!

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Does not work properly

Installed on Baofeng UV-5R radio (listed product). Tested against original Baofeng antennas, with radios in the same places every time. These HYS antennas brought no improvement in the UHF band and actually had lower performance in the VHF band. These longer antennas are expected to perform well in the VHF band. Suggest not to buy.

Pros
  • Antennas
Cons
  • Protection

Great price for a fake, they will not work with our radios

found that they don't work, was disappointed with the great price but along with other amateur friends found that this is not the green packaging and brand that works properly.

Pros
  • 2m/70cm (144MHz/430MHz) 15.3" Foldable Handheld Antenna; Connector: sma-female
Cons
