Works great. Ease of installation depends solely on the vehicle manufacturer. I have built several cars. New cars are lighter because lightweight covers are still flexible. I've done some very old cars (like a 2004 Sienna) and cracked the headlight cover. It was still worth it. Lamps give much more light.

Works great on my 19 Ram 1500 with new body, rear brake and night light. OEM LED bulbs flickered; Wanted to avoid shipping to the dealer despite the warranty. These bulbs still work well (after 1m) and are brighter and whiter than the OEM LEDs they replaced. Time will tell as to durability, but so far so cool.

I can't say anything about the durability yet, the chip was only installed a few weeks. At the same time, my colleague who followed me out of the office told me that the next day he was amazed at how bright my Silverado third brake light was. //Update// As of late September 2020, the chip is still just as bright, having traveled probably over 35,000 miles since it was installed, traveling in a wide variety of climates across the country. I have a Ford F-150 and have had problems with the reverse lights, or should I say no reverse lights. I found them and decided to give it a try. They are worth the same price. I changed one, put it in reverse and went to check the headlights and the one I changed was bright even in daylight. the old bulb on the other tail light looked like a worn flashlight. They're not much longer than regular incandescent bulbs, but they're at least 40 times brighter, maybe even more. I didn't rate durability

available They should probably be used as backup lights but they also work great as interior lights in my 04 Ranger. but at night it made a huge difference and I really appreciated how crystal clear and easy it was to look around my car at night after work. A nearby car could read a book with my interior lights on, I didn't have to change out my old halogen bulb; But I don't want to go back to my old lightbulb, especially after burning my fingers trying to pull it out.
