Bought this for my 14 year old daughter for a ski trip and it (along with a pair of Icebreaker leggings) has kept her warm under her ski gear. Bought two of these for my daughter and they will be a Seattle favorite for three seasons. The shirt makes a great base layer for cold weather and a great long sleeve shirt for regular use in moderate temperatures (50-60 F). The tailoring and fabric are of sufficient quality to withstand daily use in the harsh conditions of 5 years ago. They are beautiful, thin and soft, but be aware that they run small! My son is 4ft 6in, weighs 62lbs, he is 8 years old and usually wears a boy size 8 shirt or size 8/10 top. A bit of shrinkage. If he wants it SKIIIIIN tight a size down would do, but it wouldn't fit longer than 3 months.
