Superior warmth and comfort. They stretch and become baggy with wear. I use them as pajamas instead of long underwear because they are so stretchy. By noon you will have baggy knees. If all you want is warmth and no performance they are great and the price was amazing when I bought them.

My Favorite Lightweight Base Layer! Merino wool warms without bulk, wicks moisture and dries quickly—and these tights are it all. They are also very comfortable and soft with a good fit. They are form-fitting but not tight, which is how I prefer to sit. But what I don't think they are is something that can be worn like pants. They are too transparent for that. But the intended purpose is to use as a base layer under pants/skirts or in bed and they are fantastic for that!

I'm not new to Merino or Icebreaker. We have several base layers for toddlers and toddlers and the quality is surprisingly poor compared to toddler sizes.
