It's cold outside but Icecap has a solution so spend your COLD money! Suitable for 4 inch filter socks. Place any desired media/filter pads. When you're done, discard it, wipe clean, and fill with your choice of carrier or pads.

Not suitable for sump flue systems. At $20 the price isn't worth what they are. If you have space in the sump and no less need to squeeze the edge of the filter element, then they will fit. You should probably have money too, as it's nothing fancy and doesn't cost $20.

I like it better than filter socks, but it has a few disadvantages. I use them in my Monobloc JBJ 45. I was only going to put dental floss in them but they float. I put some Seachem Matrix on the ground, put the thread over the matrix and now they stay on the ground. It's better to just throw the floss away and replace it than cleaning your socks.
