Great for hanging by Santa's chimney

Not good for the feet. The tops aren't very well made, they sag and stretch, and while they're so thick you have to go up a size, they're no warmer than my much thinner wool-silk blend socks, which I got after 30 years still have. many years ago. 5 stars for being HUGE and a great addition to any children's Christmas when properly filled with toys and sweets.

still have all my toes.

They are very warm but not stretchy. also fits plus sizes and is not a comfortable fabric on bare skin. Aside from that, when I was camping in a tent in 20 degrees my feet felt like they were about to get cold no matter how many socks I wore until I found these. that makes it bearable. Now I don't have to worry about frostbite anymore. so many

Pros
  • Great for me

Not knee high, more like mid-calf

My feet are cold at home in winter too, so I usually wear wool socks in 2 or 3 layers. These are definitely men's socks, but that's okay, they can easily be removed for a few other pairs of socks. I wear them over other socks for a few days, they are roomy and warm. No complaints other than they really don't come down to the knee. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on shrinkage.

  • Great price

Let down. Sports socks

Definitely soft winter socks. Today is November 10th and we just set a record in Illinois. Today it was at least 17 degrees. I just sat in my tree for 3 hours. After about an hour of hunting in these socks, my feet were very cold. I wore moisture-wicking socks and my 1200g Itasca boots. These socks are letting me down a little. I even did 20 minute standing intervals to improve circulation and I still get numb toes.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

Socks that are narrow to fit clothes

I bought these socks because they were advertised as wide to mid-calf. I would say by reasonable sizing standards it is not. I bought the right size but the sock didn't fit my calf. My calves are 17.5 inches at their largest. Toes don't stretch. . However, the socks looked well made and very warm - wish they would fit, I'd happily keep them too.

Pros
  • Fits a lot of people
Cons
  • Everything is fine
