I saw them when I bought an extra chain and I thought they were very cute. Got a set of 2 and used them on my new outdoor fans and they are great and in the dark it's easy to tell which wire is which so I can turn the fan and/or lights on at will. They were of some weight and seemed quite durable, so I think they will stand up to Florida's wet weather.

My new apartment is as simple as it gets, with standard 8 foot ceilings and regular fans with a globe light in the center. But to give you an idea, I'm only 5ft 4" tall and these fan poles are long enough for me without the extra extender chain! can actually rotate freely around the chain! Bwahaha!

My fan handles were very flimsy and fell apart easily. I couldn't easily tell the fan from the light. This solved both problems. They're heavy enough to be durable, and the numbers tell me which ones I'd like to fan out and which ones are light. I also appreciate the extra chain because one of my fans is on a very high ceiling and I couldn't use the chains that came with it at all. Another problem solved!

Why didn't I order them earlier? They are so cute that even in the dark you can't tell which ceiling fan cord I'm pulling. They are easy to hold and were installed in just a few minutes. I just snapped them onto the short chain that came with the ceiling fan with light and that was it. It couldn't be easier. They appear to be as strong as the chains that come with the fan.

My apartment had very short tension chains on two ceiling fans and the handles on the ends looked the same. I'm small and each of the fans was above the bed (harder to get to). These tension chains were perfect for solving all of those problems - just enough chain to get a good length, strong enough to get the job done, and I love the unique shapes of the buttons - a fan blade and a lightbulb. I really like these new traction chains.

They were almost perfect without the extra chain. If the chain was 1-2 inches longer it would be just right. The attachment end had to be removed from either these rods or the ones that came with the fan/light as you can only use one of these so it was easier to remove the part from the new rod and then attach it to the existing chain to fix . from the fan/light. All the extra chain was a waste of time and had to be cut (with scissors?) and then glued back on. Luckily they provided extra ends…

I liked that they had fan and light pulls in one package, plus two sets each with an extra chain. The light trains feel very light and I'm a little worried about them breaking because it was the only way to turn on the light for each use. They were bought for a small apartment where a lamp on the wall has a switch that can be used for any use as long as the tension chain stays on. The only way to turn on the light is in the closet and it hasn't broken in two months of use. Adding longer chains…
