I used this bracket to mount an Idea gear indicator on an old lady's Honda Rebel. looks clean The bracket looks OEM as opposed to using the dodgy double sided tape that came with the gear indicator. Yamaha FZ1 2009. Fits. The screws that came with it were too short. I was able to use the top screw but had to use the spare screw. I didn't use the glue that came with it. I wish it was cheaper but it works.

I have a Honda CB300R. I took it to the dealer and they installed the shift indicator. I gave this holder to the dealer and the dealer used it. There were no problems. My advice is to have the dealer install the shift indicator and holder if you are unsure of your skills.
