Cool bracelets! in my opinion

My 4 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and her doctor recommended we get some sort of medical alert. I figured it would be better than a necklace for an active preschooler. They have beautiful colors and fit well!

Pros
  • Perfect fit for my 6 year old son.
Cons
  • May cause discomfort: Some children or teenagers may find the material of the strap uncomfortable or irritating when worn for a long period of time.

The color fades quickly after my review.

The color will wear off the bracelets after about 3 days, if they are made for children's medical supplies they should last a little longer. My son still loves the bracelets even though the color has faded.

Pros
  • My daughter is 7 years old, she is skinny and it fits her perfectly and has room to grow.
Cons
  • Can Get Expensive: While the bracelets are sold in packs of four, the purchase and replacement costs for families on a budget can add up over time.

Perfect fit!: my rating

Sometimes during the school year, students discover they have diabetes. I keep them as a small gift to share. They're perfect for small wrists and resemble the adults I wear, which helps students feel more comfortable with their new diagnoses.

Pros
  • Good fit for a 4 year old.
Cons
  • May not be effective in all situations

For very young children only

These bracelets were very thin not thick as pictured. They were also VERY small - unfortunately too snug for my 10 year old with T1D :( He's still struggling to get them on his wrist and still tries to wear them for a while. If you have a 5 year old, I would say it's perfect.

Pros
  • Bracelets
Cons
  • Damaged
