Actually I never got it.

I think it got lost in transit but I ordered it off eBay and put a 512GB micro SD card (SanDisk) in it, then connected to my laptop, launched iTunes and synced. A piece of cake. iPod is very light now, which seems strange, but music is available quickly and the battery now lasts forever. It's definitely worth upgrading your iPod if you're still using it.

The best card available.

This card is amazing! I upgraded my iPod Classic to 256GB and it works great! I highly recommend checking out some of the many online guides on how to update your iPod classic. There is a lot of information to help you with this process. Take your time, get the right tools, and shop for the best upgrade parts, and you've got a classic iPod that's way faster, has longer battery life, and has way more storage.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it, everything is fine

Not compatible with iPod classic 6th 160GB Video

Does not work with iPod classic 6th generation 160GB with video. An iPod's hard drive ribbon cable has fewer pins and isn't wide enough to fit a flash drive. The description saying it will work is wrong. After much searching, I found out that there is a ribbon cable that needs to be purchased separately for this specific iPod. It can be found by searching for the iPod SSD ribbon cable.

The return of old iPods

This is a fantastic product. I've bought two of these so far and have used them to add capacity to used iPods that I've bought from various sources for less than $50. The instructions are easy to follow if you have mechanical tendencies or are confident in doing things yourself. There are video tutorials on the manufacturer's website that will help. This article is great for those who love the ease of use of a classic iPod without the need for an iPhone.

Blocks at high baud rate.

I used two high-quality branded 128GB Micro SD cards, but I need to match the transfer speed to the device, otherwise it just freezes and stops working. Expected more :( Transferring my library takes hours. The current limit before it breaks is around 1000 KB/s. I didn't have these problems with a factory 60GB drive. I also have problems with corrupted files, while I'm returning mine Since it doesn't work properly I've tried many different micro sd cards with it and they didn't solve the…

Couldn't be happier!

that brought new love to an old product! I love my iPod Classic so much. The original hard drive died and I was very sad that I couldn't use it. After a little research and watching YouTube videos, I found this great product to replace my factory hard drive. THIS THING WORKS LIKE A CHAMPION! After replacing a broken hard drive, it's much lighter, runs faster, lasts longer and syncs music faster! I inserted my 4GB 256GB micro SD card to expand my classic card to 1TB and it works great. All…
