🧊 Igloo Playmate Cooler Button and Spring Replacement Kit Review

Although very expensive, it worked well once you figured out how to use it. No instructions but saved an igloo from destruction.

Works great! Follow Chris Kilgore's reply to the "Feather and button came off" comment for instructions. There were no instructions for the parts, so it wasn't intuitive.

Thank you for saving my parents from the fridge. The cooler was given to my parents for a wedding 46 years ago. With the button and spring gone I figured I'd have to replace the entire radiator but this replacement kit did the trick. Hopefully we can live off this great cooler for another 40+ years.

This button is a great item! I couldn't believe they had something like this! I thought I would have to buy another cooler. All the people who say they don't fit either haven't read the descriptions of the coolers they fit or don't know how to install them! You have to remove the old spring and push out the old plastic, then insert the new spring and just push the button on it! An absolutely brilliant idea! Thank you for a great purchase!

Bought this spring and button hoping to fix my Playmate "The Boss" cooler whose button was worn out and the spring popped out after about 2 years of daily use; and that doesn't even come close. Too bad there is no way to determine the model number of your particular "Boss" before wasting your time and money. So I screwed up the spring and screwed up the button trying to get it to work. I will do whatever it takes to try to get a refund and then buy a Coleman cooler because I'm not going to…
