Works well: Coils

Changed to 105k on my Sonata. The product looks and feels high quality. It was very easy to install. They also offer dielectric lubrication, so with the right bushings you're all set. Along with the new spark plugs, the smooth idle seems to have improved.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • silent

Precise fit of the ignition coils

It is best to replace the ignition coils when new spark plugs are installed. Iridium spark plugs work best. Fits snugly on my 2013 KIA Sportage Ex until the gray plastic lock comes out. "Don't push all the way out", pinch with two fingers and pull out the coil wire connector. "UPDATE 1 coil failure lasted less than a year"

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • High price

So far, so good. Best in Spare Parts

I have a 2011 Kia Forte Coupe (2.4L engine) and have decided to replace both the spark plugs and ignition coils. Use the supplied dielectric grease that came with the coils and installed everything properly. My car immediately caught fire. And to test it, I drove 50 miles there and 50 miles back. So far no engine codes or misfires related to the ignition system. Update 07/23/2021: It's been a few months and my car is still running. I would recommend these coils to anyone buying new ones!

Bad experience for me

Attention buyers! I installed it on my 2011 Kia and after running it for about 45 minutes it started to run very rough, like only two cylinders were running. Got off the freeway and died on the side of the road. Had to be towed and it was another nightmare. I put the old ones back in and the car started and drove, but the damage was done and the engine didn't work at all. Basically had to get rid of it as I couldn't find a Kia motor for a reasonable price! Crazy! Bought a new one. A costly…

Highly recommended!: Replacement parts

Very happy with this product. I changed spark plugs and coil packs on a Hyundai Genesis 4.6 at 100,000 miles. The engine runs silky smooth again, like new. The kit comes with dielectric grease, which is better to use in the rubber, otherwise the rubber will weld to the candle's porcelain. The hardest part of the installation was finding the latch on the ignition terminals. You will need a small flathead screwdriver to press the middle locking tab. You will also need a 3/8 universal to access…
