Good product so far.

I installed these ignition coils on my wife's 2014 Edge last week and they work great. The item appeared to be of the same quality as the spools I replaced. They didn't look like cheap fakes. I would recommend them to anyone trying to get the job done on their own.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Inexpensive, only good for 30,000 miles

Dealing with non-genuine coils. What you need to know is that they are good for 30,000 miles but are a fraction of the cost. Motocraft costs $75 per roll and lasts 100,000 miles. They're made in China and aren't built to last, but they're affordable. You choose what is best for you.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Contacting seller

Broke after a little use

Started driving from Michigan to Washington and the car started shaking. Brand new packaging broken after oil change! Garbage! I just hope others don't fall short after all the extra time it was worth. Likewise the room fee which I could not cancel. Skip them if you're not looking for a headache.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Difficult to install, works as intended

Be sure to watch two or three installation videos on YouTube. To access the rear of the engine you will need to remove part of the intake manifold. Took us about an hour to fit them but the engine started right away with no problems and increased mileage after replacement!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Everyone has a secondary coil check motor fault.

I installed 3 of these on the front row to help with the misfire code. The misfire didn't fix it. When I checked the codes on my reader, each of the new coils gave me a secondary coil error. I had 3 new bugs, 1 for each coil. I put the old coils back in and cleared the codes. not worth the time

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Empty

Check cable connection.

The vehicle description didn't say if they would fit my flex fuel engine so I ordered them and they turned out to be wrong. From what I understood from the description, it was a flexible fuel. didn't matter. If two parts look the same, they should describe how many pins the electrical connector has. I had three wires and there were only two.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good set - short life

As this is not an OE coil set I don't have high hopes for durability. I knew this was going to happen as I didn't have $425 to replace a top quality six set. The front triple on my engine is very easy to swap out as there is full access. The rear three are much more difficult, requiring the removal of the air intake, throttle body and various hoses. I bought the exact same set for another car over two years ago and it took a little over two years before misfiring. If you don't keep your machine

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Didn't work best with coil packs

Bought these for my wife's 2009 Ford Edge and after I installed them the car would not start. To access the 2009 Edge's three coils, you must remove and reinstall the air intake before testing the car. I bought new spark plugs online, made sure they were the right gap, installed the spark plugs and new coil packs, then reassembled everything. Not only did it not fix the misfire problem, I had my car and then it wouldn't start at all. I had to buy coil packs from my local parts store. Long story

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
