Ignition Trailblazer Ascender Oldsmobile 15008008 Review

I bought a used 2003 GMC Envoy with only a FOB and two generic keys. This pack was perfect for my replacement needs. Super fast shipping, well packaged, card with web link to programming instructions included. 100% satisfied.

At first I hesitated to buy them. But I ordered it anyway, it should be easy to return it right? It took me all 5 seconds to program. Took keys to local locksmith. and done. Using a new key and fob. since i bought them. NOT just a problem.

Purchased this FOB key a year ago. It took a bit of learning to program, but you need to be patient and follow the detailed instructions carefully and everything will work. If not, you can find help on the website. It was absolutely cheaper than going to the dealer. FOB holds up well, no problems.

We bought 2 of these as the other originals were lost. I had no idea they could be ordered and so easy to install/program. Very easy to assemble and looks like the original. We had to take the key and cut it out, which we did at the local hardware store. We bought 2 of these for a 2003 GMC Envoy.

It took me about three tries before I quickly found that I had to follow the programming sequences but once I found out the remotes were programmed and worked just as well as the originals. However, keys are good to have as backups, but they make poor replacements for originals or even hardware store copies as they don't fit well in the ignition. The keys just aren't long enough for my SUV.

So in 2005 we bought a pioneer for our daughter, the first car. The car came with a key, the hard plastic key was broken. She really wanted a keychain for the car. They are notoriously expensive in stores, but we were delighted to find this option on amazon.com. It was wonderful and made this exciting time a win-win for my family. I love sharing this with everyone who loves to have a car keychain at a great price.

I know someone wrote a bad review because they didn't get the physical keys. I didn't get the keys either, but I didn't really need them so I didn't care. In the photo they look longer than regular keychains. When they arrived they looked exactly like the OEM keyrings. I couldn't be happier! I had absolutely no trouble programming them on my 2005 Trailblazer. They are well built. I highly recommend this. The price for them was lower than any other I was looking for.

I hate to write reviews but I read bad reviews about this device and decided to help them. I had a bit of a problem programming the remote because it defaulted to the original remote or a different one, but it was an extra device needed in case the main remote was lost. After several tries and giving up I was able to get both to work after doing everything step by step.
