I love these coasters and use them for everything. I had some from Ikea that I bought many years ago. I use them for hot pots in the kitchen and on the dining table. I've used them under flower pots to protect surfaces from water damage and I've even attached one to the wall to use as a cork board. this one item and I'm so glad I found it here. They appear to be identical to the pack I bought from Ikea a few years ago.

I have a set of cork coasters that I bought from IKEA and they are nowhere near as good quality. The ones I bought from Ikea have a piece down the middle that makes them stiffer - they're so brittle I'd be afraid of breaking them if I handle them too much. I'm not too concerned as I use them under plant coasters. Also, they are slightly smaller (maybe 1/2 inch smaller in diameter) than my Ikea and not as thick. In the picture the bottom one was bought from Ikea, the top one is this item.
