The clips on the back do not go over the wood, they need to be pushed into the groove cut into the bottom of the frame. This will force the fuse to fit into a slot at the top of the frame. It is very durable and will hold up if done right. The frame itself is beautiful. I got it for my indoor garden and it suits the decor.

I was very pleased to receive these pictures based on photos and reviews online. However, they are not as natural as I expected. "Living edge" is a piece glued to a natural frame. It still looks beautiful and I still love how unique they are but I was a little disappointed. Other than that, the color is gorgeous, and since we have several tables with live edges in our room, they match our decor perfectly.

Bark finish on both sides. I'd rather crop to 3 sides but it's fine for my purpose. I had trouble fitting the pad into the frame. One side of the backing wasn't cut all the way through and I had to cut 1/8 inch off the top of the backing to fit the frame. The clips that hold it are on one end. and there are no brackets on the other three sides. If it's not hanging on the wall, you'd probably want to secure it better.

I took the frame out of the box and this black thing is all over it. It's on all sides and the frame. Honestly I'm not sure if it's mold or what. These frames are cute, but certainly not elitist. They have a low profile which is nice, light weight which is good for wall mounting but they feel a bit cheap. No glass, so if that suits you, then go for it. I bought these to hang some certificates in my office in our cubicle to match the decor and serve their purpose. Received my two 8X10 frames today. I rushed to open the first one and before I could even look at it, I could smell it. I can still smell it now that I've repackaged it. The main promotional photo of this frame gives the impression that it is mounted horizontally. I can clearly see the live bark on the SHORTER sides and I think it looks great in the photo. I ordered this and thought nothing of it. But. When the frame arrived I saw that it had bark ON ONLY THE LONG HORIZONTAL sides. They saved money by not applying bark on all sides. So.
