Although they easily fit in a bike rack, they are too short for our bikes. We return to find longer ones. I'm not sure about the durability. They seemed ok but we couldn't use them.

Great product but the pictures are a little misleading (I think), the holes appear larger than they are. It doesn't fit on my Yakima bike rack. But it's not the manufacturer's fault.

These straps were a replacement for an item that was omitted from the bike rack I bought. The straps feel stiff and strong. I'm not worried about their deformation from mechanical stress or cracking from sun exposure.

Ordered these to replace my original bike racks. These broke after 5 months. These are too short, not long enough. I'm just trying to get over mountain bike tires and they're short. My fault I should have looked at the lengths in the description assuming they are longer as my originals were twice the length.

Make sure you get the right length because it looks shorter than it actually is. I'm a pretty strong guy and can be difficult to stretch, which is probably on purpose. The blue "tongue" you're holding onto has fallen on all but one after a relatively light pull. They're not coming back and there's no surface to hold on to. This is a pretty big annoyance - maybe a product defect?

I have an old bike rack for 4 bikes, maybe an old Thule although I'm not sure. It's quite old, I broke the strap where the hole in the strap extends around a small bar. These straps arrived quickly and one of them was a "pretty good" replacement. The holes in the new one are smaller than the holes in the old one, so installation was a bit more involved.
