Moves an incredible amount of air for a 10 " fan.

I bought this for use in a downdraft paint spray booth. It's mounted on the outside wall of my garage and the camera is built around it. . This fan works great and the variable speed makes it versatile. The fan is not so loud that there is no normal conversation and it moves the air. The motor is fully sealed so you don't have to worry about igniting paint fumes. to find a smaller sealed motor fan at this price. I am very happy with this fan. Pair this fan with this KB Electronics controller…

Works great but lets in some draft

I used two of these in parallel to ventilate a 10x12 greenhouse. The photo was taken before I finished assembling but it gives an idea of the size. Together they let LOTS of air out! Neither of them have internal switches, so you'll need to hook them up to some sort of monitor (unless you want them on all the time). I hooked them up to a microcomputer that turns them on when the temperature goes above 90F and turns them off otherwise. Only criticism is that the felt strips don't touch when the…

Exceptionally easy installation

This fan is perfect for my application. After preparing the rough opening, it took about 30 minutes to install. The most important advice I can give is that when roughing, cut the hole to the specs for your specific model according to the owner's manual. If the opening is too narrow, it can cause the blinds to move and not close properly. I mounted mine from the inside so the shutters are flush with the outside of the building. I have decided to purchase and use the ILG8SFRC Extractor Fan…

Doesn't move air for heating, cooling and air quality

I have a shed that is 12 feet wide, 20 feet long and 7 feet high which is 1680 cubic feet. In summer it is very hot in the barn, 95 degrees outside inside will be 120+ degrees inside. Bought a fan to cool the inside of the shed hoping the inside temp would be closer to the outside temp. You can't do anything for a whole day when it was 35 degrees outside and just over 100 degrees inside at noon. Two days later at 86 Street, so I turned off the fan to see the difference, the temperature inside…
