I've struggled with eyestrain for years, even though I didn't think I was working in bright light. Using this monitor hood has greatly reduced eye strain. I use it with ASUS Designo MX27AQ 27" and it fits perfectly.

Everyone in the office thinks I installed this hood to hide my work from others and it draws a lot of attention as I'm the only person with such a hood. You're surprised when I mention that this is actually done in a way that doesn't distract me. Pair this with a pair of noise canceling headphones and you'll forget you're in a pit of madness. Very nice and highly recommended!

I work in my house right next to the window and as a photographer and image editor I always struggle with side light. and when I close the curtains the room will be quite dark. So this is a great solution! It is worth it !

The product looks amazing but will not fit a 27 inch monitor. I've tried two different monitors and no luck. Limited motion handling.

While this hood feels pretty solid, the elastic you have to use to keep it on the monitor is pretty slim and of average quality. Over time, age and heat will cause this gum to deteriorate and lose its "holding power". Also, it wasn't adjustable and was at least an inch and a half wider at the top, which prevented me from sliding the monitor back into its slot where it belongs. I've had hoods in the past; and I didn't mean that. I returned it for a refund.

This is the worst sun visor I have ever used. It's too big for 27 inches, more like 27.75 inches. Belts are practically useless.

The lens hood fit the edges of my monitor with negligible light leakage, and even though my monitor is thin, the lens hood proved to be quite durable and stayed in place even with hard impacts.

Wow. Much nicer and stronger than I expected. The outer vinyl is designed for heavy use. The interior is the perfect matte black. Light will not leak when in place and securely fastened. It's not as deep as a standard custom or OEM shade, but deep enough to get the job done.

I wanted this to work since my study has 3 walls with windows. I was so disappointed. It came well packaged but 2 clips were missing. There's also a glued foam strip to seal the light at the hood's attachment point, but it doesn't fit in the corners. Instead of cutting it to shove it into a corner, it leaves a significant gap.
