Canceled order without reason.

Purchase a new work box from a depot, store or hardware store. They are designed for nothing but low voltage. The new work boxes are designed for 120.

Pros
  • Open Rear Bracket, single, for mounting to existing structure
Cons
  • No Capacity

Very thin, doesn't hold screws well

I couldn't find a 3-post low voltage socket so I bought this one. The screw holes in the wall plate cover (not the mounting brackets that attach it to the drywall, they're fine) are very flimsy and won't catch the screws. I used very long wall panel screws and was dependent on the drywall more than the box to hold the wall panel in place.

Pros
  • Mounting wings hold the bracket securely to the wall when tightening the screws
Cons
  • There are nuances

Buy a new work box at a depot, Lovese, any hardware store. They are designed for nothing but low voltage. The new work boxes are designed for 120.

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great for stereo wiring

I seem to add speakers to my home stereo once a month. I bought it to accommodate a growing number of speaker jacks. The hardest part of the installation was cutting out the debris. This bracket fits snugly against the wall and doesn't interfere with the speaker wire at all. I might buy another one in a few months.

Pros
  • Outlets
Cons
  • Very expensive
