Good morning. After using ceramic, plastic and other shells made of different materials, they have one thing in common. They would be very hot if I held them in my hand while eating the soup. However, these double-coated stainless steel bowls were always cool or slightly warm when held. That's a big plus for me. Even eating ice cream didn't make these bowls cold. I definitely recommend these bowls.

I bought these two bowls after returning another brand which were very flimsy and poor quality. They are a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for! They are great for hot soups and cold ice cream! Good isolation. They last a lifetime and are likely to be passed on to the next generation. I will buy two more of these bowls.

I bought this pair of plates to eat soup at work. The whole point was that the bowl had to stay warm inside for food. I was making instant ramen for the first time and enough heat seeped into the outer casing in less than a minute. If it really was vacuum insulation, the outside temperature wouldn't change noticeably. 2 stars because that's what I bought it for and it failed miserably. Good as overpriced regular bowl.
