I am very impressed with this hand blender. I love making drinks and have a Ninja smoothie maker, but using something that big for a drink is annoying. At first I just wanted a blender and didn't care about all the extra attachments so can't comment on that other than say they look very cheap. The mixer is definitely there. It was mailed to me in a box in a plastic postal envelope (Revain just keeps getting cheaper with packaging, but that's another story). Once you open the box and pick up the hand blender, the first thing you notice is that it's solid and difficult to get hold of. With variable speed and turbo mode, you have many options to work with.
