Description of Impression Obsession DIE169 R Hollyhocks American

This is a US-made steel die compatible with most table-top die cutting machines. This is a set of six separate dies wired together, they can be separated by snipping the wires. The entire hollyhock measures 2.5 x 4.625 inches. Designed by Alesa Baker Designs. Some of the more detailed dies require extra care to achieve the best results. Additional shims may be necessary and some machines handle the detail level better than others. If you are using a Cuttlebug with very detailed dies, we recommend using a metal adapter plate for best results. The metal plate also works well with other machines and the very detailed dies.

Beautiful Florals for Your Crafts

Based on our own experience, this die is perfect for adding elegant floral details to our scrapbooking projects. The intricate design is easy to use and produces clean cuts every time. The hollyhock shape is a great addition to our collection and allows us to create stunning handmade cards and gift tags. The only con we found is that IT may require a bit of extra pressure to get a clean cut if using thicker materials..

Pros
  • Brightens up any project with beautiful hollyhock design.
Cons
  • Not suitable for those seeking a more minimalist or modern look.

Make beautiful flowers!

One of my favorite stamps. Gives a magnificent, well-cut stem. I usually cut out of thick white cardstock and paint with Copic markers. Nice!

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
