🔧 Super Stock IMS 275511 Foot Pegs Review

Greatly improved large foot platform. Installation only takes a few minutes, on the right side of the bike you may need to remove the brake lever for easy installation. The only negative is that my pegs came unpainted, not black. I'll paint until it starts to rust.

Fits my 2008 DRZ400S. It was more difficult to install than it should have been. This was probably partly due to the design of the tensioning system and not specifically to these pins. In general, they are much more comfortable to stand on for long periods of time. There was also no need to adjust the shifter or brake position after installation, which was nice. They are about twice as wide as stick pins.

They fit my 2006 Suzuki DR-Z400 with no modifications. can get washer and cotter pin through pin. It makes the riding so much better, I feel a lot more confident sitting on the pegs. They are also not clogged with dirt. They're pretty durable, I've dropped my bike on rocky terrain a few times and they haven't dented and the coating is holding up pretty well.

I am restoring a 2003 DRZ400 and wanted to make the footpegs a bit wider. After a little research I settled on the IMS Super Stock Pegs. I am very disappointed in them. They came with no fitting instructions, fitting with stock springs is a nightmare (see forums for evidence), fairing was missing in a couple of places and one of the holes wasn't fully drilled for a pin to go through!? Perfect fit for my 2020 DRZ400S, I'm sure they will fit year after year. I don't know why some people say they don't fit, but I'll pass on a little tip I learned. It helps a lot to remove the old pins first. Happens to the best of us. Also don't know why people have so many problems with feathers. Pro: The pegs feel good and are easy to install. No changes required. Once installed, push the foot forward almost 1/2 inch. The reason everyone buys wider pegs is because they ride a lot standing up. Once the foot advances 1/2 inch forward, it becomes almost impossible to move while standing. I was looking for wider swivels from a well-known brand. I consider it safety gear. I considered two models from the IMS brand: Pro vs. Super-Stock. I chose the SS as it is less harsh than the Pro and I also use my DRZ400S for commuting. SS pegs should be more comfortable for everyday shoes. The installation didn't cause too much trouble as I read reviews from other users and figured out what to do.
