These gloves offer just the minimal thermal protection I'm looking for. But these gloves have a velcro closure that keeps cold air out of my hand.

Got this for my 16 year old son who is a medic. The insert may need to be worn like a cheap thin glove, it's a sporty medium size. The reason for the 2 stars is that it was the colors that made him choose these (important for a teenager) as they are not the same in the picture, for the cost it's not worth the hassle mine Card to return and credit, uhhh misleading pics not cool!

I would call it autumn or spring love. I wouldn't call it a winter glove. On a 45 degree day it doesn't deliver the warmth I was hoping for. Looking good, Fitzwell. Nice.

The first pair I received had the piping separating after 3 days of use. The exchange has been going on for a few weeks now. It doesn't reflect much, so I'd rely on them as my main issue for nighttime visibility. It will keep you warm in fairly cold conditions ie close to freezing, but below 32F/0C it doesn't get that hot, especially on the most sensitive limbs. Driving is better than walking because the limbs are better protected by holding the steering wheel.
