doesn't smell like sandalwood

They burn well and I have no complaints other than smelling like baby powder and not sandalwood. If it suits you, you will be happy. If you wanted sandalwood, not so much.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll text back later

Chemical smell - room fragrance

Advance, NO RETURNS. You're stuck with it. Second, Sandlewood? Serious? Are you sure you even know what Sandlewood smells like? I assure you, the chemically toxic smell these sticks give off is not the warm, slightly woody, pleasant smell of sandalwood.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Long delivery time

No sandalwood scent

Apparently, a lot of people cheat with sandalwood because it's in such high demand. Even the famous company that made it seems to suffer from lack of quality. This product has no desirable odor, just quite a bit of smoke.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Too silly

Not exactly sandalwood.

If sandalwood and sports socks gave birth to a child and gave birth in an Indian temple, it would smell like this. Definitely not the sandalwood we all know and love. More like an awkward cousin who shows up at family gatherings only to eat a whole shrimp cocktail and tries to borrow money from family members he barely knows.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Somehow I didn't like the scent.

I really liked the packaging and thought it was from India - it would be good but it doesn't have much fragrance and the scent it has doesn't smell like sandalwood which I'm used to am . Very nicely packaged and delivered quickly. The previous sandalwood scents I received were from China and they smelled great. They were small sticks but gosh they were great. I couldn't find the same product so I tried this one hand rolled in India. but not very aromatic.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Was damaged

Smells like sandalwood mixed with cat urine

Do all VEM scents mix with cat urine? I've tried two and they are both incredibly harsh and smell AWAY close to what they labeled. Check out the 5 star reviews - even THEY say the product doesn't smell like sandalwood. FFS folks, it's not hard. If it's labeled as sandalwood, it should smell like sandalwood. Otherwise, rename it to something else. The good news is that the scent is not only incredibly strong, but also long-lasting! You too can smell cat urine in the air for hours.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Pleasant smell, strange delivery

This is a pleasant sandal that burns fins. The box of product arrived to me completely crumpled and torn around the edges as if someone had torn it apart and resealed it with tape. There are many incense sticks out there, so I decided to branch out and try something new outside of my usual rotation. The product is good enough but the packaging issue is probably enough to make me not feel inspired to buy it again and try other brands instead. maybe that's a big problem with Revain.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I enjoy this scent. Maybe you will too.

Fragrance is something very personal. What one loves, the other hates. Many perfumes that women like disgust me. I prefer simple scents. I challenge ANYONE who tells me they don't like the smell of oven baked bread. Realtors often advise their clients to bake an apple pie, or at least light an apple pie candle, before showing their home to potential buyers. I personally take cider mulled wine. I love the smell of incense. I've burned it since I was a teenager. I love the smell of sandalwood…

Pros
  • Awakens trust
Cons
  • Out of fashion
