3D printable

If you like tape 3D printing this guy is great. This is slightly wider than the 140mm printable area of my Flashforge Finder. It's a bit tricky to style without creasing due to the width, but you won't get any seams if you lay several panels side by side. The cost seems a bit high, but I'm estimating around 300 prints per roll. Not bad. I also put purple glue stick on the tape to give the plastic a little more chance to stick.

Fits my 3D printing platform

This tape is just the right size to fully cover the platform of my Silhouette Alta+ machine and is a lot more economical than buying the Silhouette brand tape circles that at least cost $1 each. I have no problem with the PLA filament sticking to the tape. Tip: Dampen the tape with rubbing alcohol to separate it from the finished project. I scrape the tape off the print with my fingernail - it comes off easily. I will buy more of this volume when the time comes.

Duct tape is terrible

Bought to use on my SnapMaker 2.0 3D printer stick-on platform. This particular product - 9 inches by 60 yards instead of 12 inches - is absolutely awful. The ribbon adhesive sticks so poorly to the surface of the 3D printer bed that it keeps breaking when peeled off and almost impossible to reuse between prints, unlike my other roll of tape [12 inch roll). Unfortunately I have to throw everything away because it doesn't work very well :(

Sticks well, easy to remove, one complaint.

This stuff is really, really good. It has good adhesion: it adheres well but is also easy to remove. My only complaint is that the "grain" of the paper runs the LENGTH of the tape meaning you have to use a knife or scissors to cut it. in length because it's almost impossible to break along the length: any break you start by running along the band will start running along the length of the band very quickly, turning an almost straight crack into a significant diagonal .

My copy of this product is completely useless. and expensive at the same time.

I don't understand how this product got such high ratings. Unless I have a broken reel. The ribbon will adhere to the printed object at temperatures of 205F and above. The tape is significantly thinner than any blue 3M painter's tape, making it almost impossible to remove an object from it without tearing the tape. The adhesive is inferior to 3M Blue Painter Tape, which also increases the damage caused when removing an object from a bed covered with tape. JFTR, I have had no problems withโ€ฆ
