Maybe they changed manufacturers or something but the candles I ordered in January 2019 were definitely red not burgundy. I even ticked the box to make sure my order didn't go bad. The box says burgundy and you can clearly see the burgundy color, but the candles are definitely red. I can still keep them but they are not the color shown in the photo or description. Don't buy them if you want burgundy candles.

I love this candle! The remote control can flicker it or leave the light on, adjust the brightness of the glow and set the candle to go out after 2 hours, 4 hours, etc. without having to lift the candle itself. Obviously this is a wax candle so it cannot be kept warm but it is stronger than candle wax. It is so sweet. I put mine in a decorative holly ring for my small dining table. The color is saturated. Good quality for the price!

Bought 2 of these candles. Although they look good and are very similar to my other much more expensive candles, both were damaged. Since they have real wax, there was a stain on the edge that was slightly dented. My husband said it makes her more real. I kept them and even considered buying them again, but the second time they arrived damaged, I would send them back and not buy them again. I'll end on a positive note, they look great when lit and cast a nice glow on the wall behind them.

It's nice and looks good when it's on, but be careful removing the packaging - we had it all over the packaging red. and it bled a little at first which meant it spread to the fingers. It seems better now. Maybe the "ink" or dye, whatever it was, melted a bit during shipping? The bleeding didn't cause streaks or anything, at first it just spread to the fingers or anything wrapped around or touching them. I needed red candles for Christmas and I didn't want them to be lit every night or forgetting to blow them out. It was perfect! 8 hours of flickering, lively atmosphere and not afraid of fire.
